Lakeland’s newest retail and mixed-use development Lake Wire to break ground (RENDERINGS)

The groundbreaking for Lake Wire, in downtown Lakeland, will take place on February 9.

The groundbreaking, announced by developers Carter and Hunt Companies, will commemorate the start of Phase 1 of Lake Wire, spanning 22 acres, with plans for more than 15,000 square feet of retail space and 300 multi-family residential units, in west downtown Lakeland, according to a statement.

The site, located on what was the former headquarters of Florida Tile, is near Bonnet Springs Park, the area’s new privately funded 168-acre recreation park now open to the public.[image_slider_no_space on_click=”prettyphoto” height=”300″ images=”23225,23224,23223,23222,23221″]
