One Liners Hillsborough: Port 32 Marinas, Visit Tampa Bay and more

► Procure by The Women’s Creative, a retail shop that sells gifts, accessories and skincare, opened a location in Hyde Park Village, in Tampa. (Pictured above)

► The Straz Center for the Performing Arts announced its 2023-24 Bank of America Broadway at The Straz season, with shows scheduled including Beetlejuice, Funny Girl, Company, Girl from the North Country, Mrs. Doubtfire, Peter Pan, Clue and, for a two-week engagement, the Tony Award-winning musical Moulin Rouge the Musical. 

Austin Schell

►Female-founded FitReserve, a multi-studio fitness membership that allows members to mix and match in-person, live-stream and on-demand workouts, announced its launch in 10 markets, including Tampa.

►  Port 32 Marinas, based in Charleston, South Carolina, with locations in Tampa and Tierra Verde, appointed Austin Schell as chief executive officer. 

► Elliott M. Ross, president of the Ross Realty Group, announced the DeBartolo Office Building, at 4401 W. Kennedy Blvd., Tampa, was sold for $7.9 million to Lafayette Partners. 

► New Life Village, an intergenerational residential community, opened its doors to 16 families, moving into newly built townhomes on its 12-acre Tampa campus.

► Visit Tampa Bay, the destination marketing organization for Tampa and Hillsborough County, has created a $1 million media campaign, featuring the slogan “Work where you love,” designed to encourage out-of-state, young professionals to relocate to the Tampa Bay region.

► Thomas Hobbs was named Port Tampa Bay’s chief of staff. 

► Strive Sales, a United Kingdom-based talent-hiring agency focused in the software sales industry, announced the launch of its first international office in Tampa. 

► ZooTampa at Lowry Park and its David A. Straz Jr. Manatee Critical Care have been named one of the 10 best zoos and best zoo exhibits in the country, in the 2023 USA Today’s “10 Best Reader’s Choice” travel awards.

► GoodVets South Tampa animal hospital opened, at 1155 S. Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. 

► Walker & Dunlop facilitated the off-market sale and financing of the DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Rocky Point Waterfront, to Blackpearl Hospitality, for $76 million.  

► Greater Tampa Realtors, a Tampa Bay-based professional association of Realtors, named Jason Outman as chief executive officer. 

► Lake Michigan Credit Union has rebranded five former Pilot Bank branches, in the Tampa Bay area, including 17635 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., in New Tampa, 408 S. MacDill Ave., in South Tampa, 5140 E. Fowler Ave., in Temple Terrace, 12471 W. Linebaugh Ave., and its location in St. Petersburg. 

Austin Freedman

► Stiles, a commercial real estate development firm, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, announced its planned expansion in the Tampa market with the promotion of Austin Freedman to director of retail and commercial development.

► Frampton Construction Co., a construction firm that provides planning and design support, preconstruction and construction services, has expanded its operations by adding a new office in Tampa, at 4300 W. Cypress St., Suite 200. 

► Argyle Real Estate Partners, in Tampa, named Michael Cacciatore as principal and Brandon Rosser as managing partner. 

► Hiffman National, a commercial property management firm, has been retained by Hollywood-based Hersh Equity Group to manage four of its Tampa-area assets totaling nearly 200,000 square feet.
