TBBW presents the finalists for Apogee Awards 2023 (VIDEO)

Jo-Lynn Brown March 11, 2025

After six hours in the Tampa Bay Business and Wealth office, five external judges selected a record-breaking 49 finalists for the 2023 Apogee Awards. The Apogee Awards is a unique awards program, created by TBBW magazine, to recognize distinguished c-suite leaders whose dedication to their industries and communities deserves particular recognition.

Presenting sponsors of the 2023 Apogee Awards include Older Lundy, Southstate and Forvis. The nonprofit partner is United Way Suncoast. The gold sponsor is M.E. Wilson.

This year’s panel of judges included Gilbert Broco, market president of CI Group, Carrie Charles, chief executive officer of Broadstaff, Patrick Harrison, chief marketing officer of Visit Tampa Bay, Erica Shea, chief marketing and business development officer at Shumaker and Todd St. John-Fulton, chief people and culture officer of Habitat for Humanity Pinellas and West Pasco.

An awards program will recognize finalists, and celebrate winners in each category, with a cocktail reception and sit-down dinner, at Armature Works, at 6 p.m., on September 27.
