VC Fast Pitch networking event returns to St Pete

Networking is at the heart of the entrepreneurial spirit. Once entrepreneurs connect with investors who see the potential in their companies, incredible things can happen. Through this collaboration process businesses develop, mature and grow.

For entrepreneurs, the first step to meeting investors is finding an opportunity to pitch their company. Business accelerator Black Dog Venture Partners believes providing such an opportunity for entrepreneurs is essential for long-term success.

On September 21, Black Dog Venture Partners will host its VC Fast Pitch conference, at Coast Creative, in St. Petersburg. It will last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

During the VC Fast Pitch event, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses and connect with a diverse group of venture capitalists, angels and accredited investors. According to the event’s agenda, posted by Black Dog Venture Partners, participants will pitch their companies in one minute.

The VC Fast Pitch conference will also feature guest speakers including Brian MacMahon, chief executive officer of Expert DOJO, and Derek Fahey, a patent attorney with The Plus IP FIRM.

“I am thrilled to bring VC Fast Pitch back to St. Petersburg, a city rich in talented entrepreneurs building future unicorns,” says Scott Kelly, CEO of Black Dog Venture Partners. “We are looking forward to providing these dynamic companies the opportunity to connect with investors from around the state and the country.”

After the VC Pitch event concludes, participants are invited to attend the Inclusive Exclusive, an evening full of entertainment, food and additional networking opportunities. Beginning at 6 p.m., guests can enjoy live music while connecting with vendors and learning about new business and product ideas. Sean McNabb (of Dokken, Great White and Queensrÿche), Robert “VuDu Man” Sarzo (of Hurricane and Queensrÿche) and Simon Wright (of AC/DC and Dio) are scheduled to perform at the INEX event.

Kelly, and the Black Dog Venture Partners team, anticipate another successful VC Fast Pitch conference and encourage local entrepreneurs not to miss this unique networking opportunity. For more information about VC Fast Pitch/Inclusive Exclusive and to register to participate, click here.
