South Tampa Chamber announces 2024 board of directors

The South Tampa Chamber announced its 2024 board of directors. This year’s board will lead the chamber through the second year of a five-year strategic plan.

This year’s goals include growing membership through recruitment, and retention, increasing advocacy efforts with the introduction of a new legislative agenda, expanding the chamber’s educational and young professionals programming.

The board will be led by Tara Moody, vice president of Synergy Technology Solutions. Moody has been actively involved in the chamber, since 2018, and previously served as the co-chair of the Chamber’s Ambassador Committee. She was recognized as the South Tampa Chamber’s Member of the Year in 2023.

Immediate Past Chair – Shane Smith, Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship

Consulting Attorney – Chase Carpenter, Moffa, Sutton & Donnini PA

Recording Secretary – Kelly Flannery, South Tampa Camber president and chief executive officer

Elizabeth Montante, ZIPS Cleaners & Qdoba Mexican Eats

Greg Slater, Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority

Jason Baker, Tampa Bay Business & Wealth

Opal Hudson, Bob Henriquez, CFA – Hillsborough County Property Appraiser

Zahira Lehri, Yaqeen LLC, DBA Planet Smoothie
