► J.D. Power named Fifth Third Bank No. 1 for Retail Banking Customer Satisfaction, in Florida, as part of its 2024 U.S. Retail Banking Satisfaction StudySM. 

► Tampa General Hospital was included in Newsweek’s 2024 list of “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women,” which recognizes the top 1,000 employers for women in the U.S. based on metrics including compensation, work-life balance and proactive management on diversity. 

GreenPointe Developers announced the addition of three homebuilders to its premier builder team.

► GreenPointe Developers announced the addition of three homebuilders to its premier builder team with Perry Homes, Terrata Homes and Vitale Homes joining AR Homes by Arthur Rutenberg and Lennar, at the Southern Hills country club community. 

► Moffitt Cancer Center, in Tampa, announced a collaboration with NVIDIA, Oracle and Deloitte on an initiative aimed at revolutionizing cancer care delivery through advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.

► The University of South Florida is broadening its collaboration with the U.S. Department of Defense, through a formalized agreement with the U.S. Army, with a five-year educational partnership agreement bringing together faculty from throughout the university to conduct critical defense research and provide student internships – helping broaden the talent pipeline for future military needs.

►  Shumaker Attorney Hannah M. Compton has been appointed to the AMIkids Tampa Board of Trustees, to work alongside fellow AMIKids Board members helping at-risk youth discover their full potential and guiding them on their paths to a positive future.

► Valet Living, a residential amenities provider to the multifamily housing industry in Hillsborough County, promoted Isorys Dilone to chief legal and compliance officer.

► Matthew Ingram joined BRANDT, in Tampa, as vice president of strategy. 

► Ryan Companies US, a Tampa-based national commercial real estate services company, named Joe Fogarty as vice president of health care real estate development.

► AMIkids, a Tampa-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people to discover their true potential, appointed Sara Jolly as the new vice president of resource development. 

► Tampa-based Sypher has partnered with the Florida Association of Insurance Agents and plans to complete a $35 million funding round to enter the residential property insurance market.

►  Ellison Construction, a Tampa commercial construction company, added Dina Good as director of business development.

► The Women’s Institute at Tampa General Hospital received the highest national designation (Level IV) in maternal care from The Joint Commission — the gold standard in accreditation — underscoring its commitment to excellence in care for mothers and babies.

► Graham Capital Wealth Management, an independent Registered Investment Advisor with offices in Washington D.C., Tampa and Sarasota, added Regis Tax and Accounting, a comprehensive tax and accounting firm serving individual and corporate clients. 

► The University of South Florida is home to nearly two dozen graduate programs considered among the best in America, according to new rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report, which listed 23 graduate programs ranked inside the top 100 among all public and private institutions, including 11 ranked in the top 50.

► German architecture firm JSWD has chosen Tampa for its first U.S. expansion, leasing 2,960 square feet, at 8401 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, and is planning to create 30 jobs over the next year. 

► Suncoast Credit Union has donated $25,000 to help alleviate child hunger in Tampa Bay by supporting Feeding Tampa Bay’s Afterschool Meal Program, which partners with 17 locations in Hillsborough, Pasco and Manatee counties during the school year, providing over 1,075 prepared meals, per day.
