►The Polk County Sherriff’s Office created a new law enforcement unit focused on cybercrime related to artificial intelligence, in partnership with Florida Polytechnic University, which will provide essential technical and research support.

►Rose Dynasty Foundation opened a health and wellness center for LGBTQ residents, at 1253 Memorial Blvd., in Lakeland. 

► Nineteen61 opened a rooftop bar, on top of their existing restaurant, at 215 E Main St., Lakeland, called Bar Vasco. 

► JLL brokerage was selected by Summit Real Estate Group to lease Hamilton Logistics Center, in Lakeland.
