One Liners Polk: Florida Southern College, JLL and more


The Polk County Sherriff’s Office created a new law enforcement unit focused on cybercrime related to artificial intelligence, in partnership with Florida Polytechnic University, which will provide essential technical and research support. 

Florida Southern College, in Lakeland, selected Jeremy P. Martin, the current vice president at William & Mary, to take over as president.

Nineteen61 opened a rooftop bar, on top of their existing restaurant, at 215 E Main St., Lakeland, called Bar Vasco. 

JLL brokerage was selected by Summit Real Estate Group to lease Hamilton Logistics Center, in Lakeland.
