The Hotel Zamora reopens after renovation, debuts new restaurant (PHOTOS)

The Hotel Zamora, located in St. Pete Beach, has reopened following a $7.5 million renovation that transformed the property into a 4-star luxury hotel. The project also introduced Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar, a new restaurant offering a Mediterranean-inspired menu with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Sherman Associates, a Minneapolis-based real estate developer, spearheaded the renovations, marking its first completed project in Florida. The upgrades include refreshed guest rooms and suites, enhanced rooftop spaces with panoramic views, and updated amenities such as a pool, gym and tanning deck.

The 64 renovated guest rooms, each measuring over 550 square feet, feature Mediterranean-style decor, spa showers, high-end air purification systems and vitamin C-infused shower treatments. Guests also have access to a private marina, beach chairs, complimentary kayaks and beach cruisers.

Azura Coastal Kitchen & Bar, located within the hotel, offers indoor and outdoor seating, including a terrace overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. The restaurant’s rooftop lounge provides drinks and views of the Gulf of Mexico and downtown St. Petersburg.

The hotel features nearly 14,000 square feet of meeting and event space, suitable for weddings and other gatherings.
