Dalí Museum launches ‘Flavors of Spain’ dinner series featuring Tampa Bay chefs

The Dalí Museum will debut a new culinary series, in May, that celebrates Spanish culture through food, with a rotating lineup of top Tampa Bay chefs creating one-night-only dining experiences.

On May 6, the Flavors of Spain Dinner Series begins with a multi-course menu from Chef Josh Werksman, of Lilac, the Michelin-starred restaurant at The Tampa EDITION. Future dinners will feature Chef Chris Artrip, of The Black Pearl (July 15), Chef Rob Reinsmith, of Wild Child (Sept. 9), and Chef Chuck Bandel, of the Museum’s own Café Gala (Nov. 18).

Each dinner will include curated drink pairings and will be held at the museum, at 1 Dali Blvd., in St. Petersburg. Tickets for the May 6 event are $225 for museum members and $250 for non-members.

The series draws inspiration from Salvador Dalí’s Spanish heritage and reflects his belief in food as a philosophical and sensory experience.
