Taylor Swift fans will soon have a new way to experience the pop icon’s music — through a high-energy laser show inside the Museum of Science & Industry’s new planetarium.
MOSI will debut “Laser Taylor Swift” on May 15, at 6:30 p.m., in its newly opened Saunders Planetarium & Digital Dome Theatre, the second-largest planetarium in the country. The all-ages show will combine Swift’s hits with synchronized laser visuals, surround sound and a 10-minute live star show.
“This isn’t just a show — it’s a shared experience for Swifties of all ages,” said John Graydon Smith, MOSI’s president and chief executive officer.
Songs will span multiple eras, from “You Belong with Me” to “Cruel Summer.” Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite Taylor Swift era and arrive early for BBQ from Station House and drinks from an on-site bar. Tickets are $10, or $8 for MOSI members, and are available at MOSI.org.
The museum plans to expand its laser music series with future shows featuring Queen and Pink Floyd.
