BayCare Health System promotes Todd Jones to chief strategy officer

BayCare Health System has promoted C. Todd Jones to an expanded leadership role, naming him chief strategy officer while he continues to serve as chief ambulatory services officer.

In this dual position, Jones will now oversee the nonprofit’s long-term strategic planning while continuing to lead its extensive ambulatory services operations, including home care, imaging, ambulatory surgery, urgent care, telehealth and the BayCare Virtual Hospital.

“Todd has proven time and again to be an asset to BayCare as someone who welcomes and nurtures new ideas and excels at executing them,” said Stephanie Conners, BayCare’s president and chief executive officer. “He is a natural choice for this role.”

Jones joined BayCare in 2018 and became chief ambulatory services officer in 2023. He previously held leadership roles with Baptist Health System in Kentucky and Indiana, including president of Baptist Health Richmond.

“This opportunity allows me to build on BayCare’s legacy of compassionate care while driving bold strategies that position us for long-term success,” Jones said.
