Embarc Collective expands corporate AI access in Tampa

Embarc Collective and EX3 Labs launch The Digital Suite Tampa to help companies move from AI interest to real world application.

Embarc Collective has partnered with EX3 Labs to expand how Florida companies access emerging technology, innovation talent and applied artificial intelligence with the launch of The Digital Suite Tampa.

The new space anchors an expanded Corporate Innovator Program at Embarc Collective and gives organizations a practical way to explore and build AI-powered digital tools alongside startups and researchers.

A hands-on gateway to AI

The Digital Suite Tampa features 30 interactive demos and learning environments designed to move companies beyond theory and into application.

Experiences span health and life sciences, financial services, government, transportation, manufacturing and other industries where AI adoption is accelerating.

Corporate teams take part in curated workshops, cohort-based programming and industry-specific AI training led by EX3 Labs.

The structure is designed to give companies a clear entry point into Florida’s startup and academic ecosystems, without the friction that often slows innovation.

“AI is reshaping every industry at a pace we’ve never seen,” said Adam Wisniewski, CEO of EX3 Labs. “The real challenge isn’t the technology, it’s the growing gap in capability between those who learn to use it and those who don’t. The Digital Suite exists to close that gap, helping organizations build the skills, clarity and capability needed to shape what comes next.”

Expanding the corporate innovator program

The partnership reflects Embarc Collective’s growing role as a connector between startups, corporations and institutions navigating rapid technological change.

The approach mirrors innovation studios used by companies such as Google and Amazon that bring enterprise teams closer to emerging tools, startup solutions and future-focused talent.

Corporate participants gain access to immersive innovation workshops, customized AI training by industry, expert-led keynotes, invite-only startup showcases and cohort sponsorship opportunities.

Those sponsorships pair companies with Embarc Collective member startups and academic innovators.

The program also includes direct-impact initiatives, such as technology and design education for under-resourced schools across Florida.

“Embarc Collective connects corporate leaders with some of the region’s most disruptive startups in ways that help corporations unlock new ideas and tap into Florida’s deep technology talent,” said Tim Holcomb, CEO of Embarc Collective. “But companies want more than access. They want a clear view into where innovation is heading and a meaningful way to engage. This partnership allows us to stay focused on founders while creating stronger pathways for corporate involvement.”

Why it matters

Tampa Bay is competing nationally for technology talent, investment and relevance in an AI driven economy.

Programs like The Digital Suite Tampa lower the barrier for established companies to experiment, learn and partner locally rather than looking outside the region.

For startups, corporate engagement creates faster paths to customers, pilots and scale.

For corporations, it offers a structured way to keep pace with rapid change without building innovation infrastructure from scratch.

For the region, it strengthens Tampa Bay’s position as a hub for emerging technology that moves from idea to execution.

Building long-term economic impact

Each corporate membership supports Embarc Collective’s nonprofit mission by funding founder coaching, startup programming and K through 12 innovation education.

The model is designed to create a ripple effect that links enterprise participation with long term talent development and company growth across Florida.

Since launching in 2019, Embarc Collective member companies have posted a 96% survival rate, created more than 1,200 high-paying tech and tech-enabled jobs and raised over $600M in angel, venture and growth equity.

More than half of that capital has come from outside Florida.

EX3 Labs brings experience helping organizations translate emerging technology into measurable outcomes, including productivity gains, risk reduction, customer engagement and new growth through a human-centered approach to design and strategy.

Together, the organizations are betting that proximity, experience and applied learning will matter more than theory as AI adoption accelerates across industries.
