Leadership Tampa Bay has announced its Class of 2027, bringing together 59 business, government, nonprofit, health care, military and civic leaders from across the region.
The incoming class includes executives and professionals from organizations including the Tampa Bay Rays, Port Tampa Bay, Tampa Electric, Tampa General Hospital, MacDill Air Force Base, the FBI, Hillsborough County Aviation Authority and the University of South Florida.
Leadership Tampa Bay is a nonprofit, nonpartisan program founded in 1988 that brings together professionals from across the region to examine the issues shaping its future. Through class days, retreats and discussions with civic, business and government leaders, participants explore topics including transportation, economic growth, education, water, human services and government.
Gilbert Broco, president of CI Group, will serve as Leadership Tampa Bay chair. Dan Pfeffer, senior vice president and Tampa regional manager for MIDFLORIDA Credit Union, will serve as vice chair.
