Long-held Tampa retail center sells for $6.2 million

Water’s Crossing Strip on West Waters Avenue has sold for $6.2 million, its first recorded sale in more than two decades.

BHM Waters LLC bought the property at 6277-6285 W. Waters Ave. from 6285 Waters Avenue LLC, records show.

The five-tenant center sits on more than 7 acres near Target and Lowe’s, with Office Depot, T-Mobile, LaserOps, Tampa Tile Solutions and Sun Nails among its tenants.

The property had been on the market since September 2025. County records show the center has 52,515 gross square feet on roughly 7.3 acres. The property has 150 parking spaces and frontage on Waters Avenue.

Built in 1999, the center had been under the same ownership since 2002, when it sold for approximately $3.93 million.

Water’s Crossing Strip sits between Target and Lowe’s along West Waters Avenue near Veterans Expressway.
