Continental Properties has broken ground on a 330-unit apartment community near State Road 52 and McKendree Road in Pasco County, near Interstate 75.
Springs at Abbey Crossings will include studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments within Abbey Crossings, a 245-acre master-planned development with residential, retail, office, hospitality and other commercial uses in the Wesley Chapel area. LandSouth Construction is the general contractor, and Excel Engineering is the architect.
“State Road 52 has become one of Pasco County’s most important growth corridors, and demand for housing is following that growth,” said Clay Cauble, vice president of acquisitions at Continental Properties.
The company expects to begin pre-leasing in spring 2027, with the first residential building scheduled for completion in September.
