Great Places and Spaces: Central Avenue loft development

2700, a loft homes development, is coming to St. Petersburg’s Grand Central district. Barkett Realty has partnered with Modern Tampa Bay Homes for the project.

Modern Tampa Bay Homes is known for its cutting-edge, contemporary homes built throughout the area. The project is reserving loft homes starting at $825,000.

Located at the intersection of Central Avenue and 27th Street South, each three-bedroom, 3½-bath loft has more than 2,100 square feet of sunlit living spaces.

Amenities include a gourmet kitchen, with Bosch appliances, private elevators, a two-car garage and elevated architectural elements, such as 10.4-foot ceilings coupled with ceiling height sliding glass doors and a 22-foot vaulted, skylighted, gallery space.

Construction on 2700 Central Ave. is set to begin this summer and is estimated to take 14 months to complete.
