One Liners Polk: Publix, Aspyre Properties and more

Steven Pacheco, a 34-year veteran of the Lakeland Police Department, was promoted from captain to assistant chief.

Michael Tschanz, director of engineering technology and analysis at Disney Parks, in the Experience and Products’ Global Engineering and Technology Department; Adrian Muhammad, managing partner of Jackson Shah & Co.; and Ryan Whittemore, chief investment officer for Florida Funders, were added to the Florida Polytechnic University Foundation board of directors.

For the second consecutive year, Publix was named United Way’s No. 1 Global Corporate Leader, thanks to the company’s most recent workplace campaign where Publix associates pledged $37.8 million to United Way, with Publix Super Market Charities committing an additional $24.5 million, bringing the total contribution to $62.3 million.

Aspyre Properties of Lakeland was part of a partnership that sold a 510,272-square-foot spec warehouse on the Hillsborough side of County Line Road for $48.49 million.
