Members mingle at the Mahaffey celebrating The Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts

What’s the universal sign of a great party? When nobody wants to leave! Just ask Amy Miller, president of the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts.

“What a great vibe it was,” she said about the intimate soiree held inside the VIP lounge at The Mahaffey Theater.

The event was a Happy Hour for supporters of The Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts.

Beach Drive fashionistas were there: Jose Martinez, owner of Sartorial, and president of the St. Pete Downtown Business Association, chatting with Megan Simons, the owner of Pippa Pelure. Dynasty Luxury Group’s Carol Fasick-Joyce was seen talking to Compass Land & Title’s President Phil Yost about her multi-million-dollar new construction listings on Snell Isle. Yost was sharing news of his passion for film and the upcoming Sunscreen Film Festival. Savory Spice Shop’s new owner Peigi Jeanblanc is a recent transplant from Chicago and happy to share news about their monthly cooking classes and the booming downtown St. Pete with developer Richard McClure.

What’s next? Circle your calendar for a Party on the Plaza, Friday, April 22 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., featuring The Hit Factory plus food trucks, vendors, live DJ and drinks. The next Members Mingle event is scheduled for May 18.
