Veredex Construction nabs two projects in Sarasota

Verdex Construction was awarded two major, multifamily projects in Sarasota by developer Eastwind Developmentthe Crossings at Palm Aire Apartments and Lakewood Ranch Senior, both designed by Forum Architecture and Interior Design and are slated to begin construction this year.

These will be Verdex’s fourth and fifth projects for Eastwind Development and will be managed from the Tampa office.

Lakewood Ranch Senior

The Crossings at Palm Aire Apartments will consist of seven three-story and four-story buildings, totaling 315 Class-A units, on 32 acres with an environmental preserve located in the middle of the project. Amenities include a 7,400 square-foot, two-story clubhouse with a coffee lounge, game room, co-working space, fitness center and resort-style pool. Completion is scheduled for summer 2023.

Lakewood Ranch will consist of two four-story apartment buildings, totaling 160 units, on 20 acres. Building 1 features 112 units and amenities including an 11,000 square-foot clubhouse with fitness center, salon, pet spa, group fitness/spin room, steam room, media room, game room/card lounge, library, craft room, dining area, lobby, leasing offices, pool and green space. Building 2 houses the remaining 48 units. This project will also include surface parking, two stand-alone, five-car parking garages and one six-car parking garage with a maintenance bay. Completion is scheduled for spring 2023.
