Rob Gronkowski to visit Valspar Championship’s The Rooftop

One day after the Valspar Championship honors Rondé Barber, a member of the 2023 Class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, on Thursday, March 16, Rob Gronkowski will visit the tournament’s new 18th hole hot spot, The Rooftop, presented by DEX Imaging and designed by Ashley.

Gronkowski will spend the afternoon of Friday, March 17, at The Rooftop, The Valspar Championship announced Friday.

Gronkowski, who won four Super Bowl rings and caught 92 TD passes in his 11-season career with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, will be accompanied by members of the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning, according to a statement.

DJ Fresh will be running the music, in between groups, and celebrities are scheduled to pop in and hang out throughout the tournament. In addition, there will be an open bar with food to purchase.

The PGA TOUR Valspar Championship will be held March 14 to 19. Each year, the tournament brings a week of events to life at Innisbrook Resort, in Palm Harbor.

“There will be opportunities available from a VIP experience and, really, from a hospitality experience,” West says.

In addition, Valspar is planning a special celebration for Rondé Barber, on March 16.

Barber was selected for enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, this year. Patrons are encouraged to show their support by wearing their Barber #20 jerseys and other Buccaneers gear.

“We are ecstatic to have this opportunity to celebrate his selection into the NFL’s most prestigious club and to thank him for all that he has done for the Tampa Bay community,” West says.
