Tampa Bay Business Women Awards 2023: Ana Cruz

For more than 30 years, Ana Cruz has worked with presidents, senators, community-based organizations and local health care clinics focused on HIV treatment and prevention. She also worked with Fortune 500 companies on projects such as behavioral health and emerging technology. 

She is currently managing partner, in Tampa Bay and Washington D.C., for Ballard Partners.

Many of us never could have envisioned what was possible in our lives were it not for mentors who invested the time, energy and support in seeing us thrive. I view it as my duty to pay it forward. I assist young Hispanic professionals in their career pursuits by offering valuable work experience and knowledge and connections.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE GREATEST LESSON IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY?

You never know who your boss will be one day, so treat everyone with kindness and respect.
