Cammie Chatterton, chief executive officer, president and owner of Bay Food Brokerage, has joined the board of directors of Feeding Tampa Bay.
“Feeding Tampa Bay does tremendous work in the Tampa Bay community to lift up those who need a helping hand, when it comes to food insecurity,” said Chatterton, in a statement. “Having been in the food industry my entire career, I have seen so much food go to waste. Feeding Tampa Bay helps eliminate food waste by working with retailers, farmers and manufacturers to get food that would not reach consumers into the hands of those who need it, among many other initiatives.”
Chatterton has volunteered with, and supported, Feeding Tampa Bay for 6 years, including her current role serving on the Capital Campaign Committee for the nonprofit’s new facility that’s under construction.
In addition to serving on the Feeding Tampa Bay board, Chatterton is currently a member of the executive board of directors for the Tampa Bay Chamber, the board of trustees for Jesuit High School and the executive board of the Get Live 45 Foundation. She is also a member of CEO Council of Tampa Bay.
