►Metropolitan Ministries’ Metro BrigAIDe AmeriCorps program was named the 2019 Outstanding Service Program of the year at a reception held in Washington, D.C.

►Cushman & Wakefield negotiated the sale of Watermans Crossing, a multifamily community positioned along the Hillsborough River in Tampa’s Wellswood neighborhood, for $29.5 million.

►M. John Burgess, a Tampa partner at Shumaker Loop & Kendrick, was elected as the second vice president of the Florida West Coast Employee Benefits Council for 2019-20.

►Hill Ward Henderson in Tampa named Kamala E. “Kami” Corbett as a shareholder in the firm’s land use and real estate group.

CEO of Clarifire, a process automation company in Tampa, was named to HousingWire’s inaugural HW Tech Trendsetters list.

►Mainsail Lodging & Development named Jill Lemaster as the company’s first chief financial officer and Tom Stoffo as director of technology.
