Tampa Bay Chamber names Small Businesses of the Year 2023

The Tampa Bay Chamber named the winners of the 2023 Small Business of the Year Awards, at a ceremony on Thursday, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.

More than 500 attendees gathered to recognize the accomplishments of Tampa Bay’s small business community.

The 2023 Small Business of the Year Award winners include:

Outstanding Leader: Robert J. Clark Jr., president of Tampa Steel Erecting Company

Startup: BoylenPoint Contender Dealership

 5–20 Employees: Paragon Cyber Solutions

 21–50 Employees: Bake More Pies Digital Marketing Agency

 51–250 Employees: MidFlorida Armored & ATM Services

The tradition, dating back to 1980, now draws approximately 400 nominations annually. This year, 20 small businesses made it to the final round of reviews, whereby more than 50 judges and SBOY committee volunteers reviewed company finances, community involvement and ethical business practices. This year’s signature event was presented by Adcock Financial and Vistra Communications.

TBBW was a proud winner of the 2021 Tampa Bay Chamber Small Business of the Year Award in the category of Startup.
