►  The EDGE Collective, a mixed-use development, in St. Petersburg, anchored by a 163-key Moxy by Marriott hotel, added Floyd’s 99 Barbershop, a rock ‘n’ roll themed hair salon, as a tenant.

► Jabil, based in St. Petersburg, will rejoin the Standard & Poor’s (S&P) 500 Index, after a seven-year hiatus. 

►  Janelle Irwin Taylor, St. Petersburg’s former communications director, will serve as publisher for Southeast Politics, a spinoff online news journal of Florida Politics.  

► Harbour Thread, a men’s and women’s clothing and accessories shop based in Burlington, Vermont, has leased a 2,447-square-foot space, at 40 and 60 22nd Street South, in a newly constructed retail strip, in the Grand Central District, in St. Petersburg. 

► LocalShops1 made a $10,000 donation to the St Pete Youth Farm to create a community compost center. 

► MarineMax, based in Clearwater, established a Marine Service Technician Apprenticeship Program for the State of Florida, registered through the Florida Department of Education and recognized by the Florida Department of Veteran’s Affairs.

►  Regions Bank appointed longtime consumer and commercial banking professional Tricia Johnson as the company’s market executive for St. Petersburg, Clearwater and surrounding communities. 

► FASTer Way to Fat Loss, a digital fitness program based in Clearwater, partnered with ASPI (Advanced Scientific Performance Institute), based in Tampa, for a first-of-its-kind clinical trial that gives scientific validation to the program’s health and fitness solutions. 

► Margaret Murray has been named Creative Pinellas’ new chief executive officer. 

► Mayor Ken Welch has selected Safe Harbor Marinas for the redevelopment and operational management of the marina adjacent to the St. Pete Pier.

►  Cheeky’s, a raw bar and seafood grill, plans to open, at 2823 Central Avenue, in St. Petersburg. 

► Environmental Science Associates acquired Janicki Environmental, a St. Petersburg-based, six-person firm known for its work in aquatic science and the study of estuaries. 

► St. Petersburg-based RxLive will receive a $150,000 grant from the NCPDP Foundation to automate tracking of physician adoption of pharmacists’ clinical recommendations. 

►  Fortu, a pan-Asian restaurant and steakhouse, opened, at 95 Central Avenue, on the ground floor of the Ponce de Leon Hotel, in downtown St. Petersburg, in the space previously occupied by Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant, which moved to Beach Drive, in 2021.
