The Canopy at Beacon Woods, a new assisted living and memory care community, in Hudson, has finished construction and welcomed its initial residents. 

Indie filmmaker Scott Tepperman shot scenes for the third, and final, installment of his “Cruel Summer” horror trilogy, at the Hacienda Hotel, in New Port Richey.
