Brian and Renee Murphy donate $1.5 million to Jesuit High School

Brian and Renee Murphy have made a personal donation of $1.5 million to Jesuit High School, in Tampa, following a major fundraising success at the school’s annual Gaudiosa Gala.

In February, the Murphys were Grand Gaudiosa Underwriters, helping Jesuit’s annual Gaudiosa gala raise $1.25 million for the school’s financial aid program.

The Murphy’s son, Parker, is a freshman at Jesuit.

“Brian and I are proud to call Tampa home and have always believed in supporting youth and education in our community,” said Renee Murphy. “We’ve seen Jesuit’s impact, firsthand, over the years and we are happy to support its continued growth with this gift.”

Brian Murphy is the founder and chief executive officer of ReliaQuest, a global leader in cybersecurity which he founded, in Tampa, in 2007. In 2022, ReliaQuest was named the Security Software Company of the Year by the Cyber Security Global Excellence Awards.

The Murphys have also previously made capital gifts to educational institutions such as the University of South Florida, the Academy of the Holy Names and their alma mater, Florida State University, as well as Junior Achievement and Voices for Children.
