Students from Gibbs High School named champions of ReliaQuest and Junior Achievement’s ‘Best of the Bay’ Competition

ReliaQuest, a global cybersecurity company, based in Tampa, welcomed 10th grade students enrolled in Junior Achievement’s 3DE instructional model, from six high schools in Tampa Bay, for its “Best of the Bay” competition.

After the Q&A session with ReliaQuest employees and campus tours, the judging panel, made up of ReliaQuest employees, named Gibbs High School’s 3DE group “The Innovators” as 2024’s ReliaQuest “Best of the Bay” Champions for their in-depth research and campaign.

The challenge was to devise an effective brand strategy for ReliaQuest’s training program at the University of South Florida, the RQ Labs program, offering an experience for real-world, business problem-solving.

The event, hosted at ReliaQuest’s headquarters, showcased students’ work as they presented their solutions to the ReliaQuest business case study and competed for the “Best of the Bay” champion title.

3DE students from Hillsborough High School, St. Petersburg High School, Gibbs High School, Dunedin High School, Tenoroc High School and Chamberlain High School participated in the competition.
