The Dalí Museum will celebrate Salvador Dalí’s 120th birthday, on May 11, with a festive day of special offers for visitors including discounted gallery admission.
The day-long celebration honors the legacy of Dalí and commemorates the 100th anniversary of Surrealism. A proclamation by St. Petersburg Mayor, Ken Welch, will designate May 11 as Salvador Dalí Day, in St. Pete.
The Museum will celebrate Dalí’s birthday every Thursday in May, with extended hours until 8:00 p.m. on May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, featuring specialty Dalí-themed drinks and desserts at Café Gala, raffles and surreal games in the Avant-Garden.
