⊲ The former Magnuson Hotel Marina Cove, at 6800 Sunshine Skyway Lane South, St. Petersburg, has been renovated and rebranded as the SkyBeach Hotel and Marina. (Pictured above)

⊲ The owners of COPA, a cocktail, wine and tapas bar that opened in fall 2019, at 1047 Central Avenue, in the EDGE District of St. Petersburg, are taking over the adjoining property, at 1045 Central Avenue — formerly home to Italy Bottega, an Italian restaurant — and plan to open a daytime café in the space. 

⊲ Pagoda Asian Grill, a create-your-own bowl restaurant concept from the national chain P.F. Chang’s, will replace the former Rib City, which operated at 1550 66th Street N., St. Petersburg. 

Proof of the Pudding was named the exclusive caterer for Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

⊲ Proof of the Pudding, a food service management and catering company for convention centers, sports and entertainment arenas, formed an agreement to serve as the exclusive caterer for Clearwater Marine Aquarium. 

⊲ Outcast Brewing, a brewhouse with a prosecco bar, a beer garden and a live music stage is coming to the former home of The Brutalist Temple of Beer, at 1776 11th Avenue North, in St. Petersburg. 

⊲ A Pinellas County employee, and a single father of three, became the 900th owner to have a home built by Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties. 

⊲ Harvey’s 4th Street Grill celebrated 40 years in business, at 3121 4th Street N., St. Petersburg. 

⊲ Metro Inclusive Health is opening a “Copay it Forward” pharmacy, next to its health center, at 2235 Central Ave., in St. Petersburg. 

⊲ Look Alive Coffee, a coffee roaster that focuses on specialty coffees, opened, at 1920 ½ 1st Avenue South, behind Spitfire Comedy House, in St. Petersburg’s Grand Central District. 

⊲ MarineMax, based in Clearwater, debuted its Life Jacket Drive, in partnership with the Sea Tow Foundation, an initiative focused on boater safety and encouraging responsible practices on the water. 

⊲ Catapult Adventure Park opened, at 4500 66th St. N., in St. Petersburg.

⊲ The Leadership St. Pete Class of 2024 chose the St. Pete Youth Farm as the beneficiary of this year’s class project, entitled “Sprouting Success,” with a project that aims to enhance the farm’s facilities and layout, providing an engaging space for young people and the community to learn about sustainable agriculture, nutrition and environmental stewardship.

⊲ Valhalla Bakery reopened, at 2444 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, in a shared space with Valkyrie Doughnuts, in the Grand Central District. 

⊲ The TradeWinds Island Resorts – the Island Grand Resort and RumFish Beach Resort – both located on St. Pete Beach, has named Kerry Mitruska as director of sales and marketing.

⊲ PSCU/Co-op Solutions, a St. Petersburg-based payments credit union service organization and an integrated financial technology services provider, launched its Fintech Engagement Program, which is designed to drive collaboration between financial solutions providers and fintech companies.
