Advantive names Kevin Boyce as chief executive officer

Advantive, a provider of mission-critical software for specialty manufacturing and distribution businesses, just announced the appointment of Kevin Boyce as the new chief executive officer of the company.

Boyce has served as the CEO of Higher Logic where he integrated and scaled six companies for the betterment of the customers and employees, along with the business as a whole.

The Executive Chairman of Advantive, Mark Friedman, thinks now is the perfect time to bring in Boyce because “the company [is] in a strong position to accelerate growth. Kevin is a growth-oriented leader, with a strong operational focus and extensive experience in the software industry, making him exceptionally well suited to run Advantive.”

The Board also made sure to recognize the previous CEO for his efforts. Hythem El-Nazer, managing director at TA, a private equity firm, states that “Benoit [de la Tour] was instrumental in establishing Advantive’s mission, building a great leadership team, and positioning the Company for long-term success.”

El-Nazer also adds on to the excitement of Boyce entering the company by saying “We are now excited to work closely with Kevin on the next phase of Advantive’s growth.”

De la Tour is proud of the foundation that he helped build at Advantive and he “[looks] forward to watching Advantive’s success.”

Boyce is looking to make the most of his opportunity and wants to “drive sustainable growth for specialty manufacturing and distribution companies with a focus on delivering customer value and scaling operations to drive success for customers and Advantive.”
