Catherine and Keebler Straz have made a $2 million donation to Metropolitan Ministries, which will provide critical support for families facing homelessness.
The gift was facilitated through a collaboration with Molly James, chief executive officer of the Metropolitan Ministries Foundation. The endowment will go towards educational expenses and materials, technology, professional equipment and attire, bus passes, gas cards, car repair, quality childcare and flexible crisis funds.
“The establishment of this endowment will celebrate the Straz family’s meaningful legacy with the Ministries and inspire more leadership gifts. It’s a game changer for our families and children’s futures,” said Tim Marks, president and CEO of Metropolitan Ministries.
