The Dalí Museum will debut a new experience, “Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon,” in The Dalí Dome, a 360-degree immersive space, on Nov. 1, 2024.
The 42-minute audiovisual show invites audiences to engage with Pink Floyd’s landmark, 1973 album through a sensory journey combining sight and sound.
The show will be available on most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Dec. 21, 2024. It marks the first new experience in The Dalí Dome, since last year’s debut of Dalí Alive 360°, which will continue during regular museum hours.
The Pink Floyd experience combines 360-degree visuals with surround sound, taking viewers on a journey through time and space. Each song is paired with its own visual theme, including futuristic and retro-inspired designs that connect with Pink Floyd’s visual history. The show was produced by NSC Creative, in collaboration with Aubrey Powell, Pink Floyd’s long-time creative partner, and is influenced by Dalí’s surrealist works.
The film is distributed by Hubblo, the distribution arm of Montréal-based Fig55, with support from the Québec Government Office, in Miami. The Dalí Museum is the only venue in Florida offering the production.
