Tampa Bay Wave launches 2025 CyberTech|X Accelerator

Fifteen startups join the initiative aimed at advancing cybersecurity innovation
Jo-Lynn Brown January 21, 2025

Tampa Bay Wave has announced its 2025 CyberTech|X Accelerator cohort, featuring 15 cybersecurity startups from across the United States and abroad. The program is supported by a $2 million federal grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration.

The accelerator includes companies addressing challenges such as zero-trust frameworks, identity management and artificial intelligence applications. Collectively, they have raised nearly $20 million from investors such as Google, Barclays and Techstars.

“The CyberTech|X Accelerator exemplifies our commitment to advancing cybersecurity innovation while supporting founders,” said Linda Olson, president of Tampa Bay Wave.

The participating companies are:

ApiaryX (Jacksonville)

Breacher.ai (Orlando)

Clox AI (San Francisco)

Cyntegra (London)

Fairo (Newton, Massachusetts)

Gaming Zero Trust (Philadelphia)

Guardare Inc. (Clearwater)

HACKERverse (Chicago)

Kriptos (Miramar)

LockDown Labs Inc. (Tampa)

Mendara (Tampa)

OpsBeacon (New York City)

Smart Eye Technology (Bentonville, Arkansas)

Undaunted Development LLC (Arlington)

Verisoul Inc. (Austin)

The program will run for several months, offering participants business development support, mentoring, sales training and pitch coaching. It will culminate with a Pitch Night on Feb. 27, where startups will present their innovations to investors and industry leaders.

The program is backed by funding partners such as A-LIGN and EY, as well as strategic collaborators like Bank of America and Cyber Florida. Participants will also receive ongoing support through Tampa Bay Wave’s CORE membership program.
