Former Florida Senate President Tom Lee has been named chief executive officer of the newly established Pepin Family Office. In his role, Lee will oversee strategic initiatives, manage investment efforts and guide the family’s philanthropic endeavors, aimed at benefiting the Tampa Bay community, according to a statement.
“The Pepin Family and I are deeply committed to preserving and enhancing our community’s quality of life for future generations,” Lee said, in the statement. “I’m honored to join them in their efforts to make a lasting impact.”
Lee will collaborate with Tina Pepin, executive director of the Pepin Family Foundation, to support the foundation’s initiatives, which include the Pepin Heart Institute, Pepin Academies for children with learning disabilities, and programs addressing mental health and wellness for first responders.
Lee’s career spans nearly two decades in the Florida Senate, including his tenure as Senate president from 2004 to 2006.
