⊲ The Crosswinds Shopping Center, at 2030 66th Street North, St. Petersburg, fully leased with anchor tenants including Marshalls, Michaels, Bealls and Havertys, was sold by Michigan-based Cambridge Investors to Georgia-based Crim & Associates and Wallace Properties for $20.5 million. 

⊲ Three parcels of land in Clearwater’s Airport Industrial Park—4400, 4600 and 4800 140th Avenue N.—totaling over 156,000 square feet of mixed-use industrial space, sold for $19.05 million, with Albany Road Real Estate Partners as the seller and i3 Investors as the buyer.

⊲ Aqua Marketing & Communications, in St. Petersburg and Fort Lauderdale, was named the official agency of record for Pensacola International Airport.

⊲ The Book Rescuers opened a storefront, at 8325 Ulmerton Road, in Largo, featuring over 100,000 books, on three miles of shelves, a 60-seat reading lounge, 16 craft beers on tap, and a coffee and tea bar.
⊲ Associate Katharine G. Haddad joined Shumaker’s St. Petersburg office as a member of the firm’s national Litigation and Disputes Service Line. 

⊲ The former Smileys Snack Shack building sold for $2.5 million to St. Petersburg-based Dodo Investments and Sand Key Consulting.

⊲ AGORA Edge, a St. Petersburg-based manufacturer of soft goods and medical supplies, has expanded into a new 48,000-square-foot facility, at 2000 29th Street North.

⊲ Bean Wandering, a mobile coffee truck known for its viral TikTok videos, will open a new cafe in downtown St. Pete’s City Center, located at 100 2nd Avenue South, replacing the former Nature’s Table in the building’s lobby.

⊲ The Charleston on 66th, a 258-unit apartment complex, in Largo, was sold for $72 million by Chicago-based Revantage, a Blackstone portfolio company, to an entity connected to Boston-based Eaton Vance, Morgan Stanley and Belhurst Realty Corporation II.

⊲ The St. Pete Mitsubishi dealership, in Seminole, was sold by The TKO Group to Jarrett Properties I LTD, connected to Bill and Brian Jarrett of Jarrett Auto Group, for $9 million.

⊲ Pinellas County has accepted a $2.25 million grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for marine debris removal.

David Bilardello, VP of Government Affairs, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital


⊲ Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital has named David Bilardello as vice president of government affairs and chief of staff. 

⊲ The City of St. Petersburg received $3,645,080 in grant funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All program, to make local roads safer around the community.

⊲ The Museum of Motherhood has taken a new permanent residence inside Gallery Row at the Factory, located at 2606 Fairfield Avenue South in Building 7, in St. Petersburg.

⊲ St. Petersburg College will launch two new Artificial Intelligence certificate programs, in Spring 2025, to prepare students for jobs in the fields of AI applications, machine learning and data science.

⊲ The Pediatric Cardiology Associates and Tampa Bay Adult Congenital Heart Center have joined Clearwater’s BayCare Medical Group, adding more than a dozen physicians and advanced practice providers across locations in Brandon, Lakeland, Safety Harbor, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Tampa and Wesley Chapel.

⊲ Sun Bear Specialty Coffee Roasters opened its first café in the EDGE District, sharing space with Sans Market, at 1037 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg.
⊲ Donna Perryman was named chief executive officer of Menorah Life and its foundation, based in St. Petersburg.
