One Liners Sarasota and Manatee: St Regis, HCA Florida and more

The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort has named six suites after influential Sarasota women—Lora Whitney, Eugenie Clark, Marie Selby, Mable Ringling, Caroline Astor and Katherine Klauber—celebrating their contributions to marine biology, philanthropy, tourism and the arts.


Neal Signature Homes Tideline, a 29-home luxury boutique community in West Bradenton near Palma Sola Bay, with a celebration featuring its new Ravenna model.

Manatee County celebrated the grand opening of Parrish Community Park, at 7550 Fort Hamer Road, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by family-friendly festivities and the kickoff of the 2025 Manatee Music Series.

SVN Commercial Advisory Group brokered the $6.05 million sale of two fully occupied office properties along State Road 64, in Bradenton— a 27,390-square-foot building in Braden River Office Park and a 5,940-square-foot building along the I-75 corridor. 

Sarasota County acquired a 14.5-acre conservation easement on the Elling Eide property along Little Sarasota Bay, for $821,666, through the Environmentally Sensitive Lands Protection Program, preserving critical wildlife habitats and ecosystems.

Fortune Magazine has ranked New College of Florida’s Master’s in Applied Data Science program No. 8 in its 2025 rankings, marking its highest placement and making it the only Florida university on the list.

SRQ Media honored Sarasota Ford’s Matt Buchanan as a Corporate Good Hero at its annual Giving Coast and Good Hero Awards, recognizing his leadership in community initiatives, including longtime support for the Thunder By The Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival and the “One Community One Team” program.

Centerstone has named Dr. Lisa Williams as regional chief executive officer for its Florida operations, where she will oversee inpatient, outpatient and residential mental health and substance use disorder services across Bradenton, Sarasota, Labelle, Arcadia and Fort Myers.

The Patterson Foundation has awarded a $1 million capping gift to The Bay, Sarasota’s signature public park, bringing its total investment to $10 million and helping catalyze $50 million in private funding for the park’s development and operations.

HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital has been named a 2025 Patient Safety Excellence Award recipient by Healthgrades, ranking in the top five percent of hospitals nationwide, for patient safety, for the seventh consecutive year.
