Phillip Lee leads Florida Blue’s $4 billion West Florida region, overseeing operations across 14 counties. With over 20 years in health care, he’s known for his strategic insight, empathetic leadership and deep community involvement.
Lee describes one of his most memorable experiences was serving as chief of staff to Florida Blue CEO Pat Geraghty, calling it “a masterclass in leadership,” he says. He now channels that experience to guide his team and continue the legacy of his late mentor, David Pizzo.
From Strike the Stigma mental health campaigns to hurricane relief and food insecurity initiatives, Lee steers impactful partnerships with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Buccaneers and other local nonprofits. “We’re building a health care system worthy of the people we serve,” he says.
