Ray Ferrara founded ProVise Management Group after being fired for refusing unethical demands at the height of his career. From that pivotal moment on April Fool’s Day, 1986, he built one of Tampa Bay’s largest independent financial firms, now managing $2 billion in assets. He received the P. Kemp Fain, Jr. Award, the profession’s highest honor.
Ferrara continues to serve on over a dozen boards and recently launched the podcast Up Your Assets and the Estate Navigator platform. Even while caregiving for his wife through Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, he leads with purpose, humor and humility. “My entrepreneurial age,” he says, “is much younger than my chronological one.”
