Chon Nguyen is a Tampa-born entrepreneur who has built three thriving companies across tech and hospitality, collectively employing over 120 people. From managed IT services to award-winning restaurants, he creates experiences that blend innovation with community impact.
He says he is most proud of winning Small Business of the Year, in 2019, just two years after launching Newgentek. “It wasn’t about the trophy,” he says. “It was about everything we built together.”
Nguyen serves on the boards of the Tampa Bay EDC, YMCA, Hillsborough Education Foundation and CEO Council of Tampa Bay.
