Chris Chatterton, president of Bay Food Brokerage and a 2005 graduate of Jesuit High School, has been appointed to the Jesuit High School Foundation.
Founded in 1960, the Foundation is an independent advisory group of alumni, parents and friends that supports the growth and long-term vision of Jesuit High School. Members are nominated, vetted by school leaders and elected by the Foundation board before being presented to the school’s board of trustees.
“It means a lot that the board voted me in,” Chatterton said. “They know how much I care about the school, and I’m looking forward to serving in whatever capacity is needed.”
Nick Suszynski, Jesuit’s director of development, welcomed the appointment.
“As an engaged alumnus, he exemplifies the values we strive to instill in our students, especially a commitment to selfless service,” Suszynski said. “He also brings a wealth of business experience and a deep personal dedication to advancing the mission of our organization.”
At Jesuit, Chatterton played football and ran track, graduated in the top 5% of his class and was a member of the National Honor Society. He has remained involved with the school through the Alumni Council, President’s Circle and sponsorship of the new football scoreboard.
Bay Food Brokerage, founded in 1993 and based in Tampa, represents food manufacturers and partners with major grocery chains throughout the Southeast.
