Tampa’s indoor pickleball scene is getting another player, with PickleRage planning a new club that will also give the growing franchise its third Florida location.
Eric and Grania Garnighian will own and operate the Tampa franchise, which PickleRage announced Thursday alongside a second new club planned for Bakersfield, California. The company has not yet disclosed the Tampa location, opening date, square footage, number of courts or expected investment.
The club is expected to feature PickleRage’s CushionX courts, along with leagues, tournaments, clinics, lessons and open play for beginners and experienced players. PickleRage also builds dedicated gathering space into its clubs for players before and after matches.
“Tampa has a passionate and growing pickleball community, making it an ideal market for PickleRage,” Eric and Grania Garnighian said in the announcement. “We’re excited to build on the brand’s momentum in Florida and bring Tampa players a high-quality indoor experience where they can play year-round, meet other players and enjoy everything that makes pickleball such a special sport.”
The Tampa club will become PickleRage’s third location in Florida as the company continues expanding nationally. Its newly announced Bakersfield club will be the franchise’s first in California.
PickleRage said it will announce additional details on the Tampa location and opening timeline as development moves forward.
