Tampa Bay Fashion week’s main event was a runway show from fashion designers like Alicia Calero, Elizabeth Carson Racker, Johnny Was and stores, like Soft Surroundings and Spanx. The show was held at International Plaza & Bay Street in Tampa. There was also a Beauty Drive for donations of  make-up, skincare, combs, cotton swabs and more

Jameis Winston’s Dream Forever Foundation held its annual fundraising dinner, A Night to Achieve Dreams. Looking to fund and establish additional Jameis Winston’s Dream Rooms for selected schools in the Tampa area, this event allowed the foundation to raise over $325,000. The Gourmet Feastival draws more than 1,000 people each year who enjoy signature dishes and cocktails from Tampa Bay’s finest restaurants. Funds raised support The Helen Gordon Davis Centre for Women, a nonprofit organization that offers programs to help women in the Tampa Bay region to succeed both personally and professionally. More than 400 guests enjoyed “The Art of a Wish” at the 10th Annual Wishmaker’s Ball Tampa, presented by PNC Bank. Hosted at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, guests bid on exclusive auction items and rocked out to a performance by Bret Michaels. In all, more than $420,000 was raised. The American Cancer Society’s inaugural Tampa Golf Classic tournament, at Avila Golf and Country Club, raised enough money to fund an American Cancer Society Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Hope Lodge suite for a year. The American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge provides free housing to cancer patients, and their caregivers, when they are receiving treatment

Tampa Bay business leaders gathered to celebrate the grand opening of Westminster Manor at 3421 W. Horatio St., Tampa. Westminster’s twelve luxury brownstones were designed by Justin Savich of Market Tampa Investments Real Estate Fund. The homes, starting at $549,000, were inspired by the iconic brownstones of Brooklyn and London.

The annual tradition of the Buccaneers Day of Service with technology leader and corporate partner Jabil continued this year at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast in Pinellas Park. The American Heart Association held its Heart Ball at the Tampa Marriott Waterside, previously named the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina. The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke.
