Medical Technology Associates acquires Pennsylvania calibration services company

Medical Technology Associates, a provider of medical gas testing, inspection, certification and calibration, has acquired MicronPA, a calibration services company, based in York, Pennsylvania.

The addition of MicronPA to MTA’s family of companies expands the brand’s calibration services offerings and its capabilities into additional industries.

MicronPA was founded in 1997, by Avyayam and Rashmi Dave. MicronPA offers gage, dimensional, mechanical and electronic calibration, in addition to dimensional inspection and specialty services. The company utilizes the GOM (Zeiss) industrial 3D CT scanner for the measurement of objects with complex geometries in an automated environment.

“Together, we will broaden our service offerings, expand our footprint and leverage technology to drive customer success,” says Val Marks, chief executive officer of MTA, based in Pinellas Park. “It’s a real win/win for customers and employees.”

This marks MTA’s fourth acquisition since January of 2023, when it acquired Energy Plus, a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based company. MTA followed with the acquisition of Premier Medical, headquartered in Tennessee, in June of 2023, and Air Filtration Management, based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, in August of 2023.
