Moffitt Cancer Center promotes an internal member to general counsel

Moffitt Cancer Center has named Chip Fletcher general counsel.

Fletcher has served as the cancer center’s deputy general counsel since 2018, and has provided legal and government relations support for the cancer center while at de la Parte & Gilbert law firm, from 1997 through 2006.

Prior to joining Moffitt, Fletcher was the Hillsborough County Attorney, the City Attorney for the City of Tampa, from 2008 through 2011, and a member of the Tampa City Council, from December 2006 through March 2007.

Fletcher is board certified in state and federal government and administrative practice.

He brings more than 20 years of experience to Moffitt’s general counsel.
