Taylor Morrison expanding in Tampa with seven new communities in 2025

Taylor Morrison plans to open seven new communities across Hillsborough, Pasco and Manatee counties, in 2025, adding more than 3,300 homes to the Tampa Bay area.

The expansion includes the builder’s first developments in Plant City, Apollo Beach and Hudson, alongside new projects in Palmetto and Parrish. Homes will range from the $300,000s to the low $400,000s, and feature a mix of single-family homes and townhomes. Planned amenities across the communities include pools, playgrounds, walking trails and certified butterfly gardens.

“We’re excited to bring our trusted brand to new markets and offer diverse home options in fast-growing areas,” said Douglas Miller, president of Taylor Morrison’s Tampa division.

Notable projects include the Palm Wind community, in Hudson, opening in December 2024, and Indigo Creek, in Apollo Beach, set to launch in early 2025. The company is also expanding its resort-style Esplanade brand to the Coasterra development, in Palmetto.
