EMCOR Group to acquire Miller Electric

Miller Electric is set to be acquired by EMCOR Group (NYSE: EME), a provider of mechanical and electrical construction services, as well as industrial and energy infrastructure services.

The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to be finalized in the first half of 2025. Until the acquisition is complete, the two companies will continue to operate independently.

Miller Electric, headquartered in Jacksonville, will remain locally operated with its current leadership team in place. Bill Johnson, chief executive officer, stated the acquisition will enable the company to expand its reach and enhance services by leveraging EMCOR’s resources.

The acquisition is aimed at capitalizing on growth opportunities in the evolving energy and infrastructure sectors.

Both Miller Electric Company and EMCOR Group have operations in the Tampa Bay area.
