Pura Vida Miami, CorePower Yoga coming to Midtown Tampa

Pura Vida Miami, CorePower Yoga and The Shade Store will open at Midtown Tampa as the mixed-use district continues to reshape its retail lineup with a mix of national restaurant, fitness and home brands.

The leases follow the retail joint venture Bromley Companies and Ram Realty Advisors formed earlier this year to oversee merchandising and leasing at Midtown.

The partnership has focused on refining the tenant mix as the $1 billion development matures, adding businesses that serve residents, office workers, hotel guests and visitors throughout the day.

Pura Vida Miami, a South Florida restaurant chain known for its all-day menu, will open its first Midtown location in the district, alongside CorePower Yoga, one of the nation’s largest yoga studio operators. The Shade Store, which sells custom window treatments through showroom locations across the country, will expand Midtown’s home and design offerings.

Bromley Companies did not disclose lease terms, store sizes or opening dates.

“Midtown Tampa was designed to evolve alongside the community it serves,” Christina Harden, general manager of Midtown Tampa, said in a statement.

“As the district has matured, we’ve gained valuable insight into how people use the property, where they spend their time and what offerings can add the greatest value to their daily lives.”

The additions represent the latest leasing activity at Midtown since Bromley and Ram Realty Advisors announced their retail partnership earlier this year.

The venture manages the property’s retail component and is responsible for attracting new tenants as existing leases turn over and new opportunities emerge.

Midtown Tampa spans 23 acres between Westshore and downtown Tampa and includes retail space, apartments, hotels and Class A offices.

Since opening, the development has continued to adjust its retail lineup as the broader project has reached maturity. Bromley Companies said it will announce opening dates and tenant locations at a later time.
