Great Places and Spaces: New design plans for Kolter Urban’s One Tampa (RENDERINGS)

Kolter Urban, the Palm Beach-based real estate development and investment firm, plans to move forward with amended design plans for One Tampa.

After reaching a compromise with the city of Tampa, the eastern and northern facades of the property have been redesigned to pay homage to and incorporate the architectural character of the Tarr Furniture Building, located at 520 N. Tampa St., completed in 1921, according to a statement.

Designed by Adache Group Architects, One Tampa is planned to be the tallest residential building on Florida’s west coast, exceeding 630 feet. The 56-story tower will offer 311 residences, with city and bay views, as well as a public ground-floor dining with indoor-outdoor seating overlooking Ashley Drive and Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park.

Kolter Urban is on track to continue approvals for the project, with construction slated to begin in 2023.
