One Liners Hillsborough: Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, Seminole Hard Rock and more

Play Ball Florida, owner and franchisee of Glory Days Grill restaurants in Florida and Georgia, will acquire Glory Days, the corporate entity that owns 22 corporate restaurant locations in Virginia and Maryland.

The National Science Foundation awarded a $20 million grant to a University of South Florida-led team of researchers to develop a standardized approach to the protection and replenishment of coral reef and mangrove ecosystems, which serve as a barrier in protecting Florida’s coasts.

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay has been reaccredited by the Council on Accreditation through 2026.

Vincent J. Cassidy has been re-elected to serve as the chair of the board of directors of the Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority. 

Hyde Park Capital, based in Tampa, opened an office in Nashville, Tennessee. 

JLL, in Tampa, appointed Noah Gens as Florida regional manager for the company’s property management division and added Brad Berzins as managing director.

Christopher Bucciarelli, chief medical officer at St. Joseph’s Hospital-North, in Lutz, and St. Joseph’s Hospital-South, in Riverview, was named to the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA Governance Board.

Frameworks in Tampa appointed of Rachel Jones as director of the Frameworks Institute. 

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa named Nathan Chapa as its new vice president of hospitality.

Next Level Brands appointed Chef Habteab “Hab” Hamde as executive chef of its forthcoming fall concept Boulon Brasserie.

Tampa-based hospitality company Mainsail Lodging & Development appointed Jason Perkins as general manager of The Karol Hotel, the first Tribute Portfolio hotel in Pinellas County. 

Bob Bolton has been named regional tournament sales director for Invited Clubs, formerly Club Corp., where he will be facilitating corporate, community and charity golf tournaments at four country clubs in the Tampa area, in addition to clubs in St. Augustine, Jacksonville and Gainesville.  

  Teachers Federal Credit Union plans to open a branch in Tampa’s Westshore business district.  

United Way Suncoast initiated a distribution of a three-year grant that will deliver $90,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough, which will use the funds to support our newly launched Credit Mentoring program.
